THE NEXT DAY:
I came in to the studio and was ready to paint, fresh, in the moment planning. i had had my bird necklace hanging over the primed bare board for about a week and today I painted similar birds onto the board, flying next/ in to cliff caves, home safety, a place to feel the twinkling stars from the inside, warm shelter, kind darkness. peace.
the universe outside, and being part of it, and safe on the inside, that is what this painting is going to be about
(i am going to leave the universal army for the next big work i make…it can be extended.)
